3-5pm: Harmonica Pocket

Harmonica Pocket begins with the swinging songs of Northwest singer-songwriter Keeth Monta Apgar. Rich in image, harmony and rhyme his lyrical songs tell stories about plants, love, forgiveness and the outdoors. Silly and sweet, The Harmonica Pocket's music is for everyone from age Zero to Grandma. The Harmonica Pocket, a young at heart band from Port Townsend Washington, makes thoughtful, acoustic and chill music for families with kids. Equal parts "Uplifting," "Organic," and "Clever," their "Pure pop goodness" wins audiences over with laid-back originals and playful re-workings of traditional tunes.

3pm: Live Painting with Mike Biskup

Keeth Apgar and Mike Biskup go way back… they both love music and art and they’ve both spent lots of time sharing what they do in front of lots and lots of folks of all ages. For this celebration they felt it would be fun to join forces and see what happens. During Harmonica Pocket’s performance, Mike will bring his easel on stage and create a painting from scratch in real time. Mike always listens to music while he paints, and the music always seems to work its way into whatever is happening on the paper. Because Mike almost always works with total spontaneity… Nobody knows how the colors will flow!

Meet Fin the Fish!

1-3pm

Within Fin, you will find a beautiful mural depicting watershed habitat, offering a magical opportunity to learn about the watershed we live in, and what animals may be dependent on the health of our stream systems. The North Olympic Salmon Coalition (NOSC) is a community-based non-profit organization that works with willing landowners and volunteers to perform salmon habitat restoration on the North Olympic Peninsula. NOSC is one of fourteen Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups in Washington State dedicated to salmon recovery. The North Olympic Salmon Coalition works to promote robust wild salmon stocks for families, fishers, and local economies by furthering habitat restoration and education on the North Olympic Peninsula.
