Seasonal Peninsula Farmers Market Crew

About the Position:
The Finnriver Market Crew presents a public face of Finnriver, working to support our mission: to celebrate the beauty and bounty of the earth, to reconnect people with the land that sustains us, and to grow community! The Farmers Market crew encourage customers to come visit our farm and Cider Garden and help grow Finnriver’s presence on the peninsula. Our Market Crew is responsible for managing the daily operation of the market booth, including working with cidery and farm crew to stock product, offer public tastings, conduct sales, create attractive and effective market displays, manage inventory of product and tasting supplies, and both set up and taking down of the booth.
Opening Day for this market is April 5th and will be held on Saturdays through November 22nd.
Seasonal Seattle Farmers Market Crew
Location: Greater Seattle area
Salary: $20.76/hour plus tips and commissions
Reports to: Farmers Market Manager

About the Position:
The Finnriver Seattle Market Crew presents a public face of Finnriver, working to support our mission to ‘serve the land with cider’, to make new friends for our farm and our products, to grow sales of our cider and wine, to encourage visits to the farm, and to celebrate our local food community. Our Market Crew is responsible for managing the daily operation of the market booth, including transport and stocking of product and supplies, offering public tastings, doing sales, creating attractive and effective market displays, managing inventory of product and tasting supplies, and both set up and taking down of the booth. The work is part-time on assigned market days throughout market season.
Kitchen Cook
Location: Chimacum, WA
Salary: $16.66/hour plus tips (total hourly pay seasonally ranging from $18-35/hour)
Reports to: Kitchen Manager, General Manager
Level: H5
Hours: 20-30 hours/ week depending on season

About the Position:
This position works within the Finnriver Food Service Kitchen team to prepare and serve food for our onsite operation while upholding local health and food safety requirements as well as Finnriver policies and mission. The Finnriver Kitchen generally opens at noon, 3-5 days per week depending on the season, and offers food for sale to cidery customers alongside a rotating host of other food vendors on the property. Self-motivation to tidy, organize and remain occupied on slower days is required as well. Shift frequency can vary seasonally but looking at roughly 20-30 hours/week.

About the Position:
The Finnriver kitchen can get very busy with guests dining and visiting our farm and event space. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure our kitchen and our food vendors have a supply of clean cookware, plates, bowls, utensils, and general food-prep and food-service tools. Use of a commercial dishwasher is required but also handwashing and drying of larger items. Working at Finnriver requires a commitment to the Finnriver mission and core values, to fastidious hygiene and to good-willed and good-humored human relations.
Cider Garden Host
Location: Chimacum, WA

This is a seasonal job from April 30th-October 20th. We are looking to hire two people to join our team!
About the Position:
We seek Cider Garden Host with customer service, beverage, or food industry experience, who will help create a positive, memorable, clean, organized, educational, and exceedingly welcoming environment. The Host role blends traditional host, barkeep and educator roles— including the range from serving cider, to setup and clean-up of the Taproom, Pavilion and Cider Garden facilities, to conducting sales to offering guided tastings. This is a diverse and dynamic role!
One essential function of the Host role is guiding customers through cider tastings so we seek folks with an interest in learning and sharing about the production, history and experiences of cider! Self-motivation to tidy, organize and remain occupied on slower days is required as well. Good humor and love of humanity is essential! Shift frequency can vary seasonally.
