AROMA: Notes of bright, fresh Washington apples followed by rich caramel and hints of vanilla


FLAVOR: Flavors of butterscotch and dried fruit delicately dance alongside the sharp tannins of bittersharp apples, grounded by an oak-infused backbone.


APPLE VARIETIES: A blend of select organically grown traditional bittersharp and bittersweet cider apples. Bittersweet cider apples —Finnriver-grown Yarlington Mill; Brown Snout and Dabinette from Siskin Orchard on Orcas Island; and bittersharp Kingston Black organically grown in the Finnriver Orchard.


CIDERMAKER NOTES:

This limited release Pommeau embodies the unique malleability and inner elegance of apples. Blending 100% organic apple juice, pressed from Washington apples, with a brandy that is custom distilled from Finnriver cider, it is then laid to rest in American Oak for 10-years. With every sip you'll find subtle notes of honeyed fruit anchored by a lingering essence of oak.

Indulge with this 10-year-old treasure  at 50° F to fully enjoy its roundness, depth and complexities. Pommeau is perfect as a nightcap or aperitif paired with paté, bleu cheese, apple desserts and melon.
